Shopping List

  • Grown Turkey 

  • Large Onion

  • Salt Free Seasoning Mix

  • Pepper

  • Vegetable Broth

  • Chopped Carrots

  • Yam

  • Clove Garlic

  • Celery

  • Corn  

  • Edamame

  • Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese

  • Style Hash Browns Diced Potatoes

Directions:  

  1. Brown together: 

    2 pounds ground turkey 

    1 large onion chopped 

    3 Tablespoons salt free seasoning mix 

    1 teaspoon pepper  

  2. Stir in and simmer until vegetables are soft (about 10 minutes):  

    3/4 Cup vegetable broth 

    2 Carrots, chopped 

    1 Yam, peeled and cut into cubes 

    1 clove garlic, minced 

    1 Cup Southern Style Hash Browns Diced Potatoes 

    2 stalks celery, chopped 

  3. Add the last 5 minutes of simmering: 

    2 Cups frozen corn 

    1 cup edamame 

  4. Remove from the heat and stir in: 

    8 ounces extra sharp cheddar cheese 

  5. Pour into a 9x13 pan.  Top with: 

    2 pound Southern Style Hash Browns Diced Potatoes (less the one cup used above) 

  6. Spray a light coating of vegetable oil over top of potatoes. 

  7. Bake, uncovered in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes, until bubbly.  Broil for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown.
