Ground turkey
Cornstarch
Paprika
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Skim milk
Pasta (small pasta)
Sharp cheddar cheeseDirections:
Brown 1 lb. lean ground turkey in a large pot.
In a bowl whisk together seasonings:
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
2 ½ cups skim milkCombine seasoning mixture, 1 ½ cups hot water, and 2 cups veggie pasta with the ground turkey.
Stir often and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, place a lid on top, and simmer for 10 minutes, or until pasta is al dente, stirring a couple of times.
Turn off the heat and stir in 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese until melted.
Let stand for 5 minutes, or until sauce is thickened.
