Grilled Turkey Sliders

 
 

Shopping List

  • Ground turkey 

  • Baby spinach  

  • Leek  

  • Yellow pepper  

  • Chili powder  

  • Monterey Jack Cheese  

  • Focaccia bread 

Directions:  

  1. Mix until thoroughly incorporated. Form into 12 small patties.  

    1 ½ lbs. ground turkey 

    2 cups torn baby spinach 

    1 leek, chopped fine 

    1 yellow pepper, seeded and chopped fine  

    1/4 tsp. chili powder  

    1/4 tsp. salt 

    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper 

  2. On a preheated grill, about 4 to 5 inches from the heat, grill patties on both sides, about 10 to 11 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165° F.  

  3. Place a cheese slice on top of each burger, continue to cook just until cheese melts.  

    6 slices Monterey Jack cheese, cut in half 

  4. Place sliders on the focaccia and top with a second slice of focaccia.  

    1 loaf focaccia bread, cut in small slices to fit the sliders
