Buffalo Turkey Wings
Ingredients:
2 turkey wings
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup Frank’s Red-Hot Sauce
Buffalo Wing Sauce:
Combine ingredients and warm to melt the butter completely.
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup Frank’s Red-Hot Sauce
Directions:
Use a knife to separate the flats from the drumettes. Remove and discard the wing tips.
2 turkey wings
Place wings in a large plastic bag and toss wings with:
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
You can cook the wings immediately. For best results, place the seasoned wings on a rack and baking tray so that they do not touch. Cover the tray and refrigerate for 12 hours to, ideally, 24 hours.
Oil the grill to prevent the wings from sticking.
Cook the wings on the grill over indirect heat at 325°F for 75-90 minutes, flipping every 15-20 minutes. Cook until the internal temperature of the wings is 180°F, and the outside of the wing is crispy.
Remove the wings from the grill and place them in a large bowl.
Toss with Buffalo wing sauce.
