Buffalo Turkey Wings

Ingredients:

2 turkey wings

1 tablespoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon chili powder

1 stick unsalted butter

1 cup Frank’s Red-Hot Sauce

Buffalo Wing Sauce:

  • Combine ingredients and warm to melt the butter completely.

    • 1 stick unsalted butter

    • 1 cup Frank’s Red-Hot Sauce

Directions:

  • Use a knife to separate the flats from the drumettes. Remove and discard the wing tips.

    • 2 turkey wings

  • Place wings in a large plastic bag and toss wings with:

    • 1 tablespoon kosher salt

    • 1 teaspoon black pepper

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

    • 1 teaspoon onion powder

    • ½ teaspoon chili powder

  • You can cook the wings immediately. For best results, place the seasoned wings on a rack and baking tray so that they do not touch. Cover the tray and refrigerate for 12 hours to, ideally, 24 hours.

    • Oil the grill to prevent the wings from sticking.

  • Cook the wings on the grill over indirect heat at 325°F for 75-90 minutes, flipping every 15-20 minutes. Cook until the internal temperature of the wings is 180°F, and the outside of the wing is crispy.

  • Remove the wings from the grill and place them in a large bowl.

  • Toss with Buffalo wing sauce.
