We don’t know why meatloaf gets such a bad rap. Our version is easy, flavorful and down-right comforting.
Cooked in the crockpot, this meatloaf will be ready for you when you get home from a long day of work. Serve it with a baked potato and green veggies, this is a traditional “farm family” meal that everyone will love!
- 1 onion sliced
- 2lbs ground turkey
- 1 onion soup mix
- 1.5 cups seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/3 chili sauce
- 2 tbs brown sugar
- 1 tbs Dijon mustard
- Form into a loaf shape to fit the slow cooker. Place loaf into crock atop onion slices. Use a rubber spatula to shape and pull loaf away from the sides of the crock, allowing 1/2-inch all around the loaf.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or until food thermometer registers 165 degrees F.
- Combine glaze ingredients and spoon over top of loaf the last 30 minutes of cooking.
