Gretta Irwin, Executive Director and Home Economist
Gretta has been with the Iowa Turkey Federation for 19 years. A graduate of Central College, Gretta’s career began as a High School Home Economics teacher. She also has three years of experience in food service. Gretta has continued to put her home economics background to good use at the Iowa Turkey Federation; she compiled the Iowa Turkey Federation’s first cookbook in 2007 and is currently working on the 2nd. Gretta lives in Boone with her husband and three children.
Sheila Larson, Director of Membership Services
Sheila started her career with the Iowa Turkey Federation a few months after graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Communication Studies and Political Science. She has been working with Allied Members, creating Turkey Talk spicing up the Annual Summer Meeting and Winter Convention for 9 years. Sheila is focused on member service programs. She lives on a turkey farm with her husband and two children.
Hailey Grant, Communications Specialist
Hailey is the newest addition to the Iowa Turkey Federation staff. Hailey is going into her Senior year at Iowa State where she studies Communications and Public Relations. Hailey loves people and agriculture, making her a great fit, as she seeks to promote Iowa Turkey Federation to all audiences. Her main focus is implementing new social media strategies and keeping the website up-to-date. Hailey is an Iowa native who grew up in the suburbs of Des Moines, where she was heavily involved in agriculture and the Iowa State Fair.
Sally Good, Bookkeeper
Sally has worked for the Iowa Turkey Federation since 2005. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Business Administration and specialization in Accounting. She has been working in the banking and accounting fields since 1983, and lives in Ogden with her husband and 4 boys.
Jill Altringer, Lobbyist
Jill graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law and has an undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar and is a registered patent attorney. Jill also maintains close ties to other agricultural related interest groups, which provides her clients with knowledge of additional activities and regional information and expertise. Jill is Storm Lake native and raises her four kids in Grimes, IA with her husband.
